Our Dear Friend
Dave Rombach
We will Miss You!

Dave was a constant source of amazement to us. His boundless energy and never accept defeat attitude was always an excellent example. Never had we met anyone who loved life more than Dave, and oh, did he have stories to tell. Pretty much no matter what the topic, Dave had a real life story that related to it.

Then of course you could talk about the totally unique experience of going to a restaurant with him! Never, ever seen a man who could use the menu just as list of ideas for him, and then he would order whatever combination of items he wanted, regardless of if it was listed or not! He always got what he wanted! He enjoyed the finer things in life.

He was also the Host with the Most. He invited us to stop by his home for a few minutes on the way to a company picnic. For those 'few minutes' He and Marilyn had an incredible spread set out for us by the pool. Food and drinks.... it was unbelievable. He invited the kids to go swimming. He was so giving of himself.

So many of his customers were immensely loyal to him and looked to him for guidance. Just recently the owner of one of our biggest customers told us how he relied on the information Dave gave him to make decisions and wanted to know who would give him that information now. I had to tell him honestly that we also went to Dave for the same information, so we're all going to share in that loss.

We at Caniff will miss Dave and all that he did for us, both professionally and personally. He was an excellent salesman a great mentor and a good friend.

He was truly one of a kind.
